I am in my third year at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I am completing bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Music, and Physics. I have three years' experience tutoring a wide range of subjects, such as differential equations, advanced literature, and abstract algebra. Through my tutoring experience, I have learned how to teach effectively. My experience has taught me how to empathize with the student, as well as how to remember what it was like to learn these concepts for the first time. I focus on helping the students develop a broad understanding, as well as develop critical thinking that will help them problem solve. Rather than memorize a bunch of definitions, I want my students to learn how to apply their knowledge in the real world.I love teaching physics and mathematics, especially calculus. However, I am able to teach a range of other subjects, such as geometry, trigonometry, chemistry, physics, and astronomy. I am also able to help students prepare for a range of standardized tests, such as the PSAT and ASPIRE, SAT, ACT, and ACCUPLACER. In my spare time, I like to explore the nightlife around my city, make video art, and sing.
