Hobbies

I absolutely love being outdoors and often hike or ski on the weekends. In previous years, I've run a dog walking service to take large dogs on hikes with me so they can get out and enjoy being outside as well. My favorite things to do to unwind during the week are cooking and knitting - both allow me to be creative and experiment while also producing something that myself and my friends can enjoy. I would consider myself a very responsible, down-to-earth individual. I am flexible and open, and I believe one of my strengths is the ability to listen to how another person thinks and feels and adapting to make communication easy and honest. Throughout my experience working with children, I've learned it's important to respect and listen to a child just as you do with adults. I believe understanding is key to any relationship, and I look forward to helping your child understand the subjects that I am passionate about and give them the confidence to pursue academic success.
