I have a History and Chinese Language double major from Kalamazoo College, and have had many hours of Chinese tutoring both in China and in the US.
Experience
For the past two years I have lived in Hangzhou China as an English Teacher and Tutor. This not only gave me fantastic teaching experience, but also allowed me to hone my Mandarin Skills. One thing that I have learned is that the best way for students to learn a language is to make sure that they enjoy it. Learning should be something fun and challenging. My teaching style involves plenty of games and challenges to keep students engaged.
