Experience
Potential Students & Parents: My name is Marty, I am a retired Biochemist & and Molecular Biologist (M.S.,Ph.D.), who worked in both Academia and the Biotechnology Industry for over 35 years. During my career, I always enjoyed working as a team with my colleagues and mentoring young scientists. I was the leader of many research projects and directed the Protein Chemistry / Recombinant Expression Department at a leading Biotechnology Company before I retired. If you are having difficulty in biology, physics, chemistry or other life science, I would love to help you understand their mysteries! I will tutor either High School, College and even Middle School students. Over the years, I have developed a clear understanding of these subjects and, more importantly, how to use them in Industry to develop both pharmaceuticals and biologic therapeutics. The hardest challenge for a science tutor is to be able to explain complex and abstract concepts on a level that the student can understand. I know that I have this skill having taught in High School, Universities and in Research laboratories. I even taught students in the Peace Corps many years ago! If you desire an upbeat, enthusiastic teacher who truly loves the subject, please contact me. If you require additional information about the specifics of my experience, I will gladly provide it. I am Located in Boulder, Colorado.
