Hello my name is Sean and I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. I have been studying Spanish since I was 13 years old (10 years). I am currently earning my bachelors degree in Finance and International Spanish for the Professions. The latter degree is a just like any other Spanish language degree but it also requires business classes in both English and Spanish and translation/problems in translation course instructed in Spanish. I am extremely passionate about learning not only the Spanish language but many others. I spent 11 months living in Barcelona, Spain. While I was there I took courses instructed in Spanish at the University of Barcelona ranging from South American literature to the history of science to even an introductory Basque language class instructed in Catalan, the other official language of Barcelona and the region of Catalonia. I also interned at ESRI España, a distributor for a US based software company. I was the only person in the office who spoke English as a first language and communicated with my colleagues strictly in Spanish. Furthermore, I received the Diploma Básico de Espanol High-intermediate level B-2 from the Cervantes institute and plan on testing for level C-1 within the next year.
