Experience

I have been teaching elementary school for 23 years. I enjoy tutoring after school because I can work one on one with each child, and see progress take place from the first time we meet. I have been tutoring for 14 years. I consider each individual's learning styles so I approach each lesson in a unique way. I am constantly attending professional development seminars. I can do remediation and enrichment, depending on the needs of the child. I am currently teaching in the public school system in Colorado, so I am familiar of the expectations as outlined in Common Core. This knowledge helps, but doesn't limit me, to being consistent with what they are learning in school. I also support students that are home-schooled.
