Experience
I have tutored elementary to college math and science students, all of which have improved their grades by at least a full letter and finish better equipped for future math subjects with or without my help. I enjoy teaching new and intuitive ways of looking at a problem, encouraging students to not just memorize the methods to but have a better understanding that can be applied to any problem. Often the mental block is not just that a problem is hard but that it needs to be looked at in a way that makes sense to you. I also teach simple mental math methods that are helpful at any level. I also have six nieces and nephews from 7 to 20 years old who I've tutored throughout their entire academic careers.
