Experience
After Brown, I took the opportunity to teach English in Ukraine. This formative experience taught me how to convey concepts to an audience in the simplest possible manner. When I came back from Ukraine, I enrolled at CU and completed a BA in Mathematics in a year and a half. The demands of accomplishing this so quickly forced me to learn the difference between knowing and understanding. It was during this time that I began to teach others the techniques I had learned. As of now, I have extensive tutoring experience in all math up to Calc 3. I have also tutored writing and economics on the side.
