I am a physics, mathematics and music triple major at the University of Colorado at Boulder in my Junior year.
Experience
I began tutoring at the end of my high school career because I love helping others understand topics that challenge them. It is enormously rewarding when a student achieves mastery of a difficult subject; I am proud to share their experiences of relief and excitement. I focus on mathematics and the sciences but I've taught everything from literature to upper division college mathematics to SAT test prep. My scores on the ACT were Composite: 34 Science: 36 Mathematics: 35 Reading: 35 English: 33 My SAT scores were Math: 780 Verbal: 740 Writing: 660 Math 2: 800 Physics: 800 Chemistry: 800 My AP Scores were AP Literature: 5 AP Chemistry: 5 AP Calculus BC: 5 AP Physics B: 5 AP Language and Composition: 4 Since then, I've taken courses on Classical Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Mathematical Mechanics (a.k.a. analytical dynamics), Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra, Analysis, Calculus 3, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations as well as some independent research in condensed matter physics.
