Overall ACT score: 29 Writing score on the ACT: 35 (99th percentile) I am interested in being a tutor because I love helping others, enjoy/have experience working with students, and love English (the subject that I tutor in). I worked for three months during the summer of 2009 as a camp counselor; thus, I have plenty of experience in working with a variety of children ages 7-17. One of the duties of this job was to come up with creative ways to teach the children information in a positive environment. I was an honor roll student in high school, received multiple awards for my proficiency in writing, and received an 'A' in a higher level freshman writing my first semester at CU.
