Experience
My specialty is getting your student top grades and scores, just like I did when I scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT/ACT and graduated in the top 10% of my 5000+ person college class at CU with a BA in Economics. I also specialize in complete transformation for students who want to rise above getting C's and D's in college and want to become A-students. Under my tutelage, your student will very quickly become more organized, learn faster, and score higher (especially on SAT/ACT, Economics, study skills, Chemistry/Bio, college algebra, and calculus) using techniques I have honed on myself and the students I have tutored for hundreds of hours. Unlike many tutors, who are simply socially awkward grad students , I have painstakingly developed a tutoring program that leads to higher scores (SAT/ACT) and grades (Economics, other college subjects) as long as the student works hard and does what I instruct them to do. We do this in a fun and accountable atmosphere that emphasizes working together over boring explanations of how to solve problems. Who we tutor: -Students who are interested in complete academic transformation or a better SAT/ACT, especially in Economics, Math, study skills, or Chemistry. I routinely take D and F students and make them honor roll students. I require at least a 4 week commitment of 1-2 hours/wk and often have students work with me for the entire semester for 3-10 hours a week. -I am happy to put you in touch with past parents of students who I have gotten A's, the many students who have gotten +5pt ACT score increases, and other great results!

Hobbies
My main interest is constantly improving how students learn, review, and perform well in high school and college courses/tests. Outside of school, I have published articles on econometric analyses of certain niches in the American labor market, as well as the US spectrum auctions... which to anyone not already interested in these areas are quite boring :) I also like to row, hike, and read about history, politics, and entrepreneurs who dislike the status quo and want to make the world a better place through great ideas.
