Experience
I tutored a mentally disabled 19 year female last spring. I would like to be a tutor because I would like to be a part of helping children grow and flourish. I have many years of experience working with children in general (7 years). I took AP psychology in high school and recently took another psychology course. I took AP European history in high school as well as American history and Global Studies. I was also a History award winner as listed below during my junior year of college for a 10 page research paper I wrote. Honors and Awards: Chicago Metropolitan History Winner, Spring 2008 Chicago Metropolitan Women History Winner, Spring 2008 Illinois State History Winner, Spring 2008 National History Finalist, Spring 2008 Principal’s Recognition, Winter 2008 I worked with the MESA program last spring by attending an elementary school in Longmont with 4th and 5th graders learning about space. I have CPR and First Aid certifications.
