I went to the State University of New York - Binghamton where I earned degrees in biology and environmental science. I've taken coursework in science teaching, and I've taught in the classroom, along with working with students one-on-one and in groups. I believe in the power of learning and the opportunities it provides. I love helping students learn new things and reach the moment where the concept clicks with them, and they light up because they discovered something new. I can tutor courses like algebra, astronomy, biology, chemistry, environmental science, study skills and organization, life sciences, and test preparation. My specialty is life sciences. For testing, I can help students develop techniques for exam day and for preparation. I'm currently a graduate school student, where I study psychology. I've been focusing on behavior learning modifications to study how it will learn most effectively. This is something I can use as a tutor obviously, combining learning methodologies with hard work to help students achieve success.
