Education
I am a licensed special education teacher in the state of Colorado with an additional elementary education endorsement. I graduated with an M.A. in special education from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2008 and have been teaching ever since. My B.A. in English and History is from the University of Colorado, Boulder and was completed in 2006.
Experience
I've been teaching for 10 years and love the time I spend teaching. I have worked in public district schools in Jefferson County and in charter schools in both Denver and Aurora. I have worked with students from kindergarten through eighth grade and currently teach in a school with sixth through twelfth grade. Recently I have also been tutoring, both independently and for a large company, with people from about third grade through adult.
