EducationBachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University, 2013
ExperienceHere's the simple reason I like tutoring: there is joy in learning. Watching someone's understanding and confidence in the material grow is rewarding for tutor and student and it's a process I love to be involved in.
I was a student lab coordinator for summer sessions of Chemistry 101 at Boston University. I formally tutored students throughout high school and college, as well as being a text or Facebook message away for informal, on-the-fly help.
I love helping others learn and fostering a passion (or tolerance) of the sciences is one of my favorite pass times. I was a founding brother of Boston University's chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma, a co-ed professional chemistry fraternity.
HobbiesI currently work supporting academic IT infrastructure at Naropa University.
I love reading, from non fiction and news to high fantasy. My favorite series is "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman.
