I have tutored students from K through high school in all aspects of literacy - reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary. I currently volunteer twice a week in the literacy program for both 1st and 3rd grade at Mesa Elementary in Boulder. I also have three children of my own that need my help:). I am enrolled in an upper division writing class at CU Boulder that will help me write my departmental honors thesis in Political Science. I am planning to obtain my teaching certification as I would like to instill my love of learning in others. I am only taking one class over the summer, so I would like to spend my time working with people that need some help.

I read all of the time! I also enjoy yoga, bike riding and running. My son is a skateboarder and my girls are dancers and gymnasts. We spend a lot of time outdoors, but we also like board games and Rock Band:)
