I'm attending University of California, Davis, with a 3.8/4.0 GPA. I'm soon to start my second year as a Biochemistry/Molecular Biology Major, with a minor in Psychology. Before that, I went to Fairview High School (class of 2014) and ended with a weighted GPA of a 4.6/5. I focused heavily on taking both AP and IB classes.
Experience
I received a 2190 on the SAT (770 on Math Section), as well as 5's on both AP Chemistry and AP Calculus BC. Also, I've taken a whole series of general chemistry and math (up to Linear Algebra) in college, receiving only A's throughout. I am very passionate about these subjects, and have always enjoyed helping out my peers in these areas. I love taking any chance to share my enthusiasm for math and the sciences.

Hobbies
I've played piano for almost 15 years, and I love it. I also enjoy playing tennis, swimming, and writing fiction. Learning languages also is one of my passions. I am now fluent in Spanish, and have been learning French and German for the past two years. Language is a great tool because I love to travel and it therefore becomes amazingly useful. Possible futures for me include Psychiatry, therapy, or Pharmaceuticals. All in all, I want to find out a way to help people suffering from mental disorders, especially what with the growing prevalence of bipolar disorder and depression in our population.
