With Maggie’s extensive knowledge of math, she took confusing and complicated topics and was able to break them down into an understandable and manageable process. Her laid back demeanor and sincere concern for my academic success eliminated much of my anxiety in a subject that causes me a considerable amount of stress. She guided me through a class I thought I had little to no chance of passing. I would strongly recommend Maggie to anyone, and I would gladly use her again. –Dave Hemphill
Maggie was awesome! I found her on a short notice basis before my Business Statistics and Calculus finals and she replied almost immediately. She fits your needs around her schedule and is very good at getting back to you! Maggie is knowledgable with all different subjects of math and could help me with any subject I jumped too. Also prepares for your session ahead of time. I would recommend her for anyone!!
"I was struggling in Calculus 3. I did not do well on my second test and was worried about not making the cut to continue onto my other Aerospace Engineering classes. It was very hard to find a tutor what was accepting students in the middle of the semester. Maggie emailed me back immediately. She really helped me with the concepts and execution of the problems not just giving me the answer. It helped me get 12% above the class average on the final and helped me pass the class. Very thankful for all of her help."
Maggie is an amazing tutor for my 8th grade son! She is always gracious and helpful when scheduling him into her schedule and is very easy to work with. Her explanations are thorough and well thought out. I would recommend her to anyone!
Maggie has been an absolute blessing to our family. Our freshman in high school has ADHD, so focusing in class and especially during homework has been extremely difficult. Maggie answered my email within 24 hrs and agreed to start seeing him two times a week at our house. The change has been remarkable. He sits still with her for 2 hrs each time and has responded amazingly well to her very calm, patient demeanor. She is extremely smart and was able to jump in to both his Geometry and Chem/Phys, providing support and encouragement. His confidence has dramatically gotten better in both classes and we are no longer fighting with him each night to do his work. We are very grateful to have her tutoring our son!
"Our son Jake is an 8th grader in Boulder. He was struggling with math concepts as well as organization. Maggie has turned everything around. Jake has gotten A's in math for the whole semester and his organizational skills are improving. Thank you, Maggie!"
I hired Maggie to work with my 16 yr. old son in Chemistry. She was professional, timely and most important; knowledgeable. My son told me she explained it better than his teacher. His understanding shot up as did his grade. Highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of working with Maggie in the Spring of 2014. I was taking an epidemiology course as part of my public health graduate program. Maggie was an outstanding tutor. Her knowledge was impressive and she did an excellent job of explaining the material. I highly recommend Maggie as an academic tutor.
