*I have much experience to source from, and would excitedly implement my notions of the meaning and relevance of literature, art, and communication to reveal the pathways of the student's own goals and abilities, perhaps hidden abilities. I have many well-developed formal and creative excercises for invoking attention, imagination, action, and dedication. This work would absolutely be a mutual experience between myself and the student, never one-sided. I would eagerly source through my own library to find poems, stories, essays, and plays that would suit the student's will and potential. I assure you I would fearlessly approach this work with hope and understanding.
*Recieved full scholarship and fellowship from Brown University 2010-2012 for literary merit
*Have been funded to conduct literary research in Germany, Ukraine, and New Mexico 2011-2012
*The writer and director of six plays since 2007 that have been produced in New York City, Philadelphia, and Rhode Island
*Poems published in limited edition books, literary journals and anthologies in America, Lithuania, and Spain
HobbiesI am an active playwright, director, poet, actor, essayist, and literary researcher, always occupied with new projects. Most recently, I have poems on display in Amsterdam as part of a collaborative public installation in the old Jewish sector of the city. Currently, I am teaching myself to play the mandolin, learning to identify and harvest medicinal plants in the mountains, writing a new play to occur in New York in the fall, and waiting to hear from various publishers as to whether my first book of poetry will soon be published.
