Experience
I've been an assistant to a previous high school English teacher. I've graded many papers for students as well as held conferences with them to help them improve on their writing skills. I want to be a tutor, because it would be great experience to work with younger students as well as improve on my own skills. I've taken AP English Language and Literature in high school, I've taken lower division and upper division courses at CU for writing as well as literature. I enjoy being able to work with others on a subject that I myself am focusing on and trying to improve and grow with myself.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading almost anything. I really enjoy literature, one of my favorite books is Pride and Prejudice. I enjoy writing and reflecting on books that I've read because it helps me better understand important points the author's may have been trying to point out. What's great about literature, is that it's open for interpretation and helps the reader personalize what they're reading in order for them to relate to their own lives.
